Hinged Dolly Squared HD2 Patent Pending - (PRE-ORDERS ONLY) We are working with our manufacturer to bring this new innovation to you!
Moving a heavy object can be both difficult and hazardous. Traditional moving devices, such as an upright 2-wheeled dolly, a 4-wheeled dolly positioned horizontally, or even 4 small moving slides with or without wheels often fail to complete the task safely, efficiently, and quickly. These tools typically require at least two people to lift the object, position the dolly (or dollies), and successfully move it. Some objects have legs or corners set at different distances, while others have hollow bases, making it impossible to use a standard 2-wheeled or 4-wheeled dolly.
Our Hinged Dolly Squared – HD2 overcomes the limitations of existing dollies, facilitating the movement of various objects. The arms connecting the dollies can be adjusted in both length and angle, allowing the user to position the dollies to accommodate different object sizes and shapes. This adjustability is particularly beneficial when dealing with objects that have non-standard foundations, such as hollow or irregular bases, which traditional dollies might struggle to support.
The hinged design eliminates the common problem of runaway dollies—when one dolly moves out of reach while trying to position the other—by keeping the two units connected and within reach. HD2 allows for the dollies to be positioned in various configurations: as individual units, as a set of two hinged dollies, or in combination with an additional hinge to create a set of four dollies working together. The final product will be made of thermoforming plastic, which is both lightweight and durable.
